My name is Lexi. I am 25 and my fiance is 28.

We have been together for about 5 years and decided late last week to get married in the Barossa in April/June 2011. Soooo excited!!!

Hi Mallory,

Thanks for the congrats and great to hear from you!
We have only just started planning. Got the current issue of Barossa Bride mag and driving to the Barossa this long weekend to check out venues. Any ideas???
Wow October, you must be well on your way to having things organised. Where is your reception? Have you got your gown yet? I have my heart set on the most gorgeous shoes from Ivory Soul shoes - they are the strappy swarovski ones in the current mag.

Chat soon,
Lexi

Hey Lexi,

Congratulations! Great to have you on board. We only just got engaged recently too!!
Getting married March next year and am looking at venues for a cocktail theme. We are going to have something quite funky...so am looking for suppliers who are a little out there :P

Bye for now

Hey,

Those shoes sound nice Lexi! I can't remember them from the mag - i'll have to have a look tonight when I get home.

I have most things organised. We're getting married at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort & i'm having a Maggie Sottero gown called 'Suzanne Vidal' you can see a pic and some of the other things i've been planning on my wedding announcer site. http://scottandmal.weddingannouncer.com/
I got my gown from Jenny & Gerry's. They were nice and helpful there when I was trying on the gown but after I had ordered it and went for my 'try on' and to pick up my gown the girl was a bit useless & I wasn't very happy with her.

There are so many great venues in the Barossa, you just have to find something that is right for you. We didn't look around a whole heap in the Barossa as H2B really wanted to go to the Novotel however i've heard that Seppeltsfield is nice and apparently Cheteau Tanunda is gorgeous too.

I'm heading down there again on the 19th to have my 1st visit with a florist. I'm visiting Viva the Flower Store whose listing I got off this site hopefully it will go well.

:)
