Welcome to Callicakes

My name is Cal Petrusma and I love making and designing unique wedding cakes, including uniquely creative decorations for them, especially sugar flowers. So if you're planning a Wedding, Engagement or any other Celebration, anywhere near the Barossa Valley, Gawler and through to Adelaide, South Australia, we’d love to make a cake that's just right for you.

Gone are the days of only fruitcake for your wedding cake - these days you can choose any flavour of cake you wish. Below is a list of some of the flavours we use, but if you don't find what you are looking for, contact us below for more information on creating a luxuriously mouth watering wedding cake for you and your wedding guests to enjoy.

Mud Cake…

  • Dark or White Chocolate
  • Marbled
  • Mocha
  • Caramel

Traditional Fruit Cake…

  • With Marzipan and Fondant Icing
  • Dark or Light
  • Super-Rich Choc-Whiskey

Other Cakes…

  • Carrot
  • White – vanilla, lemon, mocha, almond, hazelnut
  • Chocolate – choc, choc-coconut, choc-orange
  • Chocolate Fudge
  • Marble

Icings…

  • Buttercream – vanilla or flavoured
  • Choc Ganache – in dark, white or milk
  • Choc Shards over Ganache – dark, white, milkm marble
  • Fondant – lovely marshmellow flavour

Fillings…

  • Whipped Ganache – dark, white or milk. Can be left plain or flavoured with alcohol or oil-based flavours such as Kahlua, orange, butterscotch, berry, frangelico, hazelnut and many more
  • Buttercream
  • Fruit Coulis
  • Jam or Lemon Curd
