REAL BAROSSA VALLEY WEDDING – EMMA & RICHARD

A magnificent reception held at Seppeltsfield Winery, the bride’s step father’s former family winery followed the marriage of Emma Seppelt-Lower and Richard Austin. Emma was accompanied by her bridesmaid, sister Georgia. Richard’s best man was his son Tyler, 8.

Having met Emma (Marketing Manager) through work, Richard (Account Director) proposed to his bride-to-be on Grand Cayman Island, with a bottle of French champagne whilst holidaying in the Caribbean.

Fast forward 11 months and Emma and Richard were joined as one in a romantic ceremony officiated by the same celebrant that had previously married Emma’s mother and stepfather more than 20 years ago.

There has always been a strong family connection with Seppeltsfield Winery, said Emma. It was just beautiful, with only minimal decorations required...white picnic umbrellas for shade, wine barrels to rest drinks on and amazing Barossa gourmet food prepared by renowned local Barossa chef, Peter Sich.
