real barossa valley weddings

A relaxed reception at Barossa Valley Estate followed the marriage of Sydney couple Kate Pairman and Geoff Mutton. Kate was accompanied by her 6 bridesmaids including sisters Sarah, Felicity and Leah and friends Liana, Candice and Leigh. Geoff was assisted by best man Saxon and three groomsmen school and university friends Stewart, Bruce and Michael.

Having participated in the City to Surf in Sydney, Kate and Geoff ‘s paths crossed at a local bar where they had met friends after the race. Two years later whilst on holiday in the South Pacific islands, Geoff proposed to his bride to be during dinner on the balcony of their beach hutt, located on the beautiful beach of a remote island.

The couple chose the Barossa as their ideal ceremony and reception location as Kate’s parents had moved to the Barossa a few years ago and Kate and Geoff’s friends were keen to celebrate the couple’s wedding in the gorgeous wine region and enjoy a weekend getaway at the same time.

THE BEST PART

Our family involvement…my bridesmaids helped set up the church, my sister who sang at the church, our lovely nieces and nephews.

It was wonderful being able to share our special day with family and friends who had traveled to the Barossa Valley to be a part of our celebration.

We had the most beautiful balmy evening - just perfect for our outdoor dance floor and jazz band!
