A modern twist to the classic wedding celebration was the theme for the marriage of Barossa couple Kristie and Luke. Kristie was accompanied by sister Peta and sister in law Emma. Luke was accompanied by best man, school friend YJ and groomsman school friend Clinton.

After meeting at a birthday party held for Kristie’s brother, what later followed was unique marriage proposal; an engagement announcement in the Saturday Advertiser newspaper, followed by a proposal early Saturday morning before family and friends had read the paper.

We decided to exchange our marriage vows at Tabor Church as Luke and his family are members of the church and we selected The Farm for our reception venue as it was a new venue with a warm modern space. Elli and her team were great and more than accommodating to all our requests, said Kristie.

We had such an amazing day; the best part was dancing the night away as newly weds with our closest family and friends having a great time with us. We spent our wedding night at home, which was a great idea as we were able to spend some quiet time amongst our home comforts re-living the special day we had just had.
